The Self-Supporting System features a quartet of compacted, hard-drawn, stranded aluminium conductors. These conductors are enveloped in carbon-infused cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and are organized around a central supporting core made of bare aluminium alloy. Conversely, the Supporting Core System is designed with a trio of phase cores, consisting of compacted, hard-drawn, stranded aluminium conductors. These conductors are also encased in carbon-infused XLPE insulation and assembled around a central core of bare aluminium alloy for support.
